First Haircut

Aaron got his first haircut ever last week. It was getting a little long in the back enough so that I could kind of spike in the back. If Aaron were a little girl, it was have been really cute. But seeing as he's not a girl I decided to cut it. He was ok about holding still, but only because I bribed hime with a fruit roll-up.
We went to the Kennicot Copper Mine which is the biggest open copper mine in the world. It was REALLY windy, as you can see by our hair.
I think this is the tire of one of the biggest trucks that they use. (Dont' know the guy in the background. I just noticed him).
As Aaron was trying to pull off more of my very few tomato plants, Paolo sprayed some water in his direction to keep him away. Instead Aaron thought it was fun to get sprayed by the water. So here he is getting soaked, and loving it.

Aaron's 1st birthday

Just a hello from the Palmieri's. Aaron turned one today. We can't believe this little miracle in our life. I'm sure you all feel the same way about your kids. Being a mom is the greatest thing in the whole world. We're so grateful that Heavenly Father gave us this little guy.

Burn Surgery

Hey I just thought I would let you all know that next Thursday the 24th of April Jonas will be having surgery in Sacramento California. He has some areas across his chest that are really tight and starting to cause a hunched posture, so they wanted to correct it before it got too out of control. So basically they are going to cut then stretch out the skin stitch it back together and possibly do some skin grafting in a few small areas. They tell me it is an outpatient surgery but may possibly keep him over night depending on how much they do end up doing. We are going to stay in California for a week because they want to check his healing 2 and 7 days after the surgery. Scott's mom and two sisters are going to go with Jonas and I. Scott's aunt lives 5 miles from the hospital so it will be really nice to be able to stay with her instead of staying in a hotel for a week. Anyway.... please keep Jonas in your prayers that day! (well and me too because they whole thing makes me an emotional wreck)Thanks so much and I will let you all know how it goes!

Blessings from above

Dad, Pat, and Mom just came by to give me a blessing before heading into the rest of the treatments today which include an m.r.i. and fitting for a mask that holds the head in place during radiation.

It was such a blessing to feel the faith of my older brother and father during the blessing. Its interesting that during a blessing, things are conveyed on many levels. We hear words, we feel their power in our hearts and our minds seek to store them for future recall when needing a boost in faith. What a blessing to have the gospel in our lives.

Its hard to watch the concern on the faces of family and friends. But its comforting to know that their feelings are born of the deep relationship we have had from since before coming to this world. When I see these expressions, I can't help but feel that Heavenly Father feels similar feelings and knows the thoughts and desires of our hearts. I feel as ready as possible.

I think of the words of Todd Beamer, one of the brave men who stopped the terrorists from flying that last jet into the white house. Just before carrying out their counter attack, Todd can be heard to say: "Let's Roll"

Dear Family, Just returned from the hospital after leaving Dan from his having brain tumor surgery. It was an agressive cancer tumor which had grown for possibly the last three months to a size of 5 cm by 7cm. The doctor removed 80% of the mass and Dan will receive radiation in about two weeks. He and his family could use all the prayers you can muster up. Love Grampa and Gramma Wilson

Matthew Wilson growing up

I am loving reading about everyone. We will try to link all the blogs when we get a minute. Everytime I turn around Matt is taller. Chris tells me I need to get him dress pants that fit. The problem is that we buy him new pants and two weeks later they are high waters! So I thought I would send a picture of him in his new suit before he grows out of it. He was so cute. He walked around with my brief, saying "Don't I look like a CEO and Honey, I'm home". The girls and I had such a good chuckle. Recently, he told me after the earthquake in Wells, NV that the second coming was obvisoulsy near. He also said that one day after I picked him up from a friends house and they had a guitar hero game with barely clothed women. I also am including a photo of his team for knowledge bowl. It is like a spelling bee, but the questions are all "trivia" that they are supposed to be learning. It was very impressive to see all the different school's teams. He is in the gifted program for the district this year. It has been very hard and he tries so hard to impress his teacher. Even though he wants to we have not signed him up for next year. Hope you all are doing well. Love, Jessica

Hi guys, it is so awesome to see everyone's comments. All is well in Wisconsin. Well, it is very cold and lots of snow. 2/10s of a inch short of the snowiest winter in Wisconsin. I think that is all we do is shovel. That is what we call "Date Night"
Audrey is a junior and just started track. Chelsie is at byu idaho, Crystal and family is in Twin Falls and Joe is in Boise. I sure wish we could be there. Pat is busy with his job and scouts. I am still doing stake young women. I travel most Sundays to different wards. Sometimes it takes 31/2 hours to get to one ward.
We are anxious to hear from everyone. Thank-you for everything
Pat and Paula

My first Show

This is really cool! I'll enjoy reading about everyone. I am still in school going for my degree in photography. I should graduate (finally) next spring. In the mean time I will have some photos going up in a gallery here in Salt Lake on March 21st. The show will run through April 15th or so. If you are interested in going it is at the Art Space Gallery which is 250 South 500 West just behind the Rio Grande building. Anyway, I love you all! I'm lucky to have such a great family!

The Bradley Family!

Well how exciting! I hope to hear and see tons of pictures from everybody! Blogging seems to be getting so big it's just a nice way to catch up with everyone when we all seem to be living so far apart. Well we are doing pretty good up in Twin Falls Idaho. We really like it here and love the fact that Joe is close to us in Boise and Chelsie in Rexburg. Now we all just need to get my parents out west! Jonas is growing like crazy he will be 3 on the 22nd and he reminds me every day that he is such a big boy. His burns are doing great he has an appointment in Sacramento in April to determine when he will need his next surgery which should happen later this year. We are getting a temple here in Twin Falls the open house is coming up soon so anyone wanting to go feel free to come stay with us. Just wanted to tell Grandma and Grandpa that we love and miss then so much! I hope things are going great for you guys!

Here is a picture of Grandma and Grandpa at the falls here in November! We were so excited to have them here for a day!

The Pedersens Update

Hi guys. What a great idea! It'll be nice to hear how extended family members are doing. The Pedersen family is well. We put our house in Omaha up for sale last week. Tyler is almost done with residency. He'll finish in June. He'll start working in Laramie in July. Sydney, 5 3/4 years old, is enjoying kindergarten. She loves to read, color, and play videogames. Charlotte has entered the Truly Terrible Threes. With that said, she can also turn it on when she wants to. She loves to learn and has become VERY talkative. Her new belief is that anytime someone kisses, then they are married. So, when she gives me a kiss, she'll say "now we are married." So far our attempts to correct her have not worked. :) Isaac is 9 months old. He has 5 teeth and bald. He is clapping, crawling, pulling up things, cruising, and getting into EVERYTHING. He sucks his thumb and eats any string, hair, paper, or sock he can find. He loves trying new foods. He is such a happy baby. I am enjoying motherhood. My kids keep me on my toes. I also spend a lot of my time running HOAA's playgroup (HOAA is a resident spouse association), taking care of our primary (I'm the secretary), and reading.

The Palmieri's

So the site won't let me upload any pictures. Next time. Just wanted to say hi to the whole family. Here's an update on our family. We moved back from Italy in November and we're living in Salt Lake. It's been quite a change and adjustment for us. But that's how it always is with drastic change. Aaron is 9 months old now and crawling... meaning I'm in trouble, or more correctly he's into trouble a lot. It doesn't help that he's a Wilson. The genes make for trouble makers.

Just wanted to say hi to gramma and grandpa and tell you that we love you!
Julie, Paolo, and Aaron
